The Alaska 48 Flybridge is of thoroughly modern construction whilst retaining classical lines to her hull. The vessel is comfortable and well laid out internally for local cruising as well as passage making further afield.
Stepping into the main salon from the rear deck you find to port L shaped seating, with an inlaid, adjustable table in front. To starboard is another seating area.

The main salon has plenty of natural light thanks to stainless steel framed tempered glass windows. Vibration is minimal thanks to standard blinds that are mounted in edge tracks. There is also extensive soundproofing in the engine room to minimize transmitted noise levels. A teak and holly cabin sole is standard throughout.

Passing through the salon, you will appreciate the beauty of the materials used and the quality of the finish, such as Satin Teak or Cherry wood. In the main salon, your vision is drawn to the spectacular central entertainment station that conceals the DVD systems and secure drinks storage. Finished with curved, inlaid panels, this unit shows the skill and pride that the craftsmen at Alaska put into each 48 Flybridge. Above the entertainment station is an LCD TV to complete the media centre. Moving forward and to port you will find the well equipped galley. Complete with four burner ceramic hob and under-counter oven, fridge and freezer, it also benefits from a microwave at eye height, stainless steel sink unit and Corian work surfaces. Storage space for provisions and tableware is thoughtful and well laid out for easy access and secure storage.

Continuing forward leads to the lower helm station, with optional single or double helm seats that afford excellent visibility of both the angled burr wood veneer instrument panels and to the outside through large windows.
Level with the lower helm station on the starboard side is a stainless steel coach hinged door that provides access to the starboard side deck. The specification of this unit is more usually found on motoryachts costing many times more than the Alaska, a further sign of quality design and care in the end product.

Overhead you will notice an impressive inlaid design created by the joiners with handrails and Italian lighting. These panels are easily removable, as are all overhead panels for ease of maintenance or access.
